Stonehenge
For Salisbury International Arts Festival, we produced time lapse, stills, video, editing and media services. The French arts group Cie Carabosse transformed Stonehenge into a magical ‘Fire Garden’ for two nights – part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
With four time lapse shooters, a field editor, two manned scissor lifts, and new recruit Sara providing support and coffee, it turned into an epic production over two nights. We produced HD video content for broadcasters – including BBC’s One Show and Culture Show – Thom was kept very busy processing and grading footage from ten cameras:
We also placed video and time lapse footage on our servers – used by broadcasters on three continents. We provided two scissor-lifts – one for our filming, and a large 17m, eight person platform for media use. This was skilfully operated by Marc, who, like all our engineers, has IPAF certification and considerable experience.
We had a lot of fun making this film and media for broadcasters, increasing exposure and engagement in the event – why not contact us to see if we can do the same for you?
