We're looking for a Business Development Executive to work in our central Bristol offices.

The candidate must have strong, proven sales and marketing experience. While the work does include generating sales, it's not about phone-bashing - we need someone who can develop and maintain profitable, long-term relationships with major new clients and sectors. What We Do: Lobster Pictures is the world leader in time lapse and site monitoring for construction and engineering. Our clients are diverse and impressive - ranging from massive engineering projects for Siemens, China Petroleum, Network Rail and others, through to Natural History programmes for the BBC. We are a creative company, with a strong technical focus. We're constantly innovating and improving, and we're full of enthusiasm for the many challenges our work presents. The Role: You'll research new business leads and opportunities, finding new customers and market segments for our innovative products and services. You'll take overall responsibility for existing 'prospects' - converting them to sales where possible - and you will take initial phone and email enquiries from new clients. You will devise - and carry out - marketing strategies, including managing our online advertising and assisting with the creation and commission of marketing materials: films, presentations, press releases and brochures. Key Accountabilities: - Grow and develop revenue from existing prospects - Generate new business revenue - Achieve and exceed sales targets - Build and maintain new and existing client and industry relationships - Manage online advertising - Develop new and creative marketing strategies for our products and services *Please note: this is a staff position - the scope of the role is not negotiable. Person Specification You will have the experience and confidence to approach and engage on every level - from senior decision makers in multinational organisations through to individual clients. You'll need to be able to explain complex technical concepts quickly and clearly. You must be comfortable having a very wide range of tasks and responsibilities. As Lobster Pictures works internationally, language skills are desirable.
