We're always on the lookout for ideas, inspiration and new techniques from time lapse projects around the world. Here are some examples of films that have caught our imagination and wowed us in the last 12 months - we hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did! 'My Bristol Lapse' by Pablo de las Cuevas - September 2013 This Bristol-based Spanish photographer has created an awesome time lapse video about the city that is dear to our hearts... the video incorporates traditional time lapse, hyperlapse and 360°photography to produce a visually dramatic piece.

One World Trade Center Time Lapse 2004-2013 by EarthCam - September 2013 This commemorative time lapse documents the construction of the One World Trade Center. EarthCam captured this emotive project from start to finish throughout the nine year duration.

'Elemental Iceland' by Stian Rekdal - October 2013 Photographer Stian Rekdal created this stunning time lapse of the Icelandic elements and its natural beauty using over 3,000 photographs from a selection of 40,000 taken over a course of three weeks.

'Gromit Time' by Jamie Brightmore - October 2013 This endearing time lapse video was featured on the Bristol Post website and as Jamie quite rightly says, the film 'captures the magic of the art trail and the local spirit of Bristol in the wonderful summer of 2013' - more cheese Gromit?

Lobster Pictures 2013 Showreel - February 2013 We couldn't resist!
