The Challenge:

The annual Epsom Derby is a fantastic affair of all things British; with everyone dressing up in their finest garments, walking around with a glass of prosecco in hand and hoping their horse will win big. Now often the British weather can let us down, it makes those garments look less than fabulous and provides the prosecco with a spritzer of rain water. So Epsom Racecourse needed something to make sure that didn’t happen.

The Solution:

Keith Prowse Hospitality were tasked with providing a marquee of epic proportions on site and it not only had to look good but be fit for purpose - whatever the weather. The marquee would host the hospitality after-party as well as over 50 staff and hundreds of guests, no mean feat. It took 9 months of planning to ensure that the protected land where it would stand at Epsom Racecourse, would not be compromised and it took 5 days to erect it. The results as you can see from this awesome time-lapse video prove that Keith Prowse and the team not only met the challenge but knocked it out of the park!

The Result:

Our Lobster Pot time lapse camera shot an image every 2 minutes for the length of the shoot and every minute whilst the races were in full swing. This speedy time lapse provided ample footage, to use for future promotion and also allowed them to see where they could improve and streamline the process even further.

You guys did a fantastic job and I’m more than happy! Should we ever have a time lapse requirement again you will absolutely be the first people I speak to.
