East Village N06

“It enabled us to smoothly drive the programme and deliver the project with ease.”

Joe Bowden, Engineering Manager at Mace

East Village N06 is a development in East London, comprising two residential towers, 26 and 31 storeys respectively. Two further 10 storey pavilion buildings were an iconic part of the build due to the structures being connected with a high level skybridge.

As with any major construction works, managing different works packages – especially when different phases overlap – can be challenging. Monitoring and recording the different processes, and methods used are essential responsibilities for the main contractor for effective project management and for the Golden Thread.

The Mace project team leading the delivery were already well acquainted with Lobster Vision through numerous projects working together, and due to the global framework agreement. They appointed Lobster Pictures to provide the online solution that visually documents each phase via each different camera angle automatically throughout the project for them.

Hear from the Engineering Manager at Mace, Joe Bowden

“It allowed us to monitor and record progress across several work phases at once. Having Lobster on board enabled us to smoothly drive the programme and deliver the project with ease. Great customer service, coupled with a health and safety focused install team resulted in a steadfast delivery.”
